2. What This Policy Covers

This policy covers the dodged.it website (“the Site”) and the FACEIT CS2 Telegram bot it promotes, @faceit_trackplayer_bot (“the Bot”), which the controller operates as a free hobby/operational tool to send match notifications to Telegram users who opt in.

3. The Website Itself

The Site is a static marketing page. It has no sign-up form, no accounts, and no analytics or advertising trackers. The only data the Site stores in your browser is the single cookie described in our Cookie Policy.

4. What Data the Bot Processes

• Your Telegram chat ID, and username/first name if made available by Telegram, once you start a conversation with the Bot.
• The FACEIT nickname(s) you choose to track and their publicly available FACEIT match/ELO data.
• Your notification and language preferences set via Bot commands (e.g. /language, /togglenotification).
• The text of any message you send via the Bot's /feedback command.

5. Why We Process It and Our Legal Basis

• Providing the service you requested (sending match/status notifications you opted into) — performance of a request made by you, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (by analogy, as you are not a formal contracting party) and legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Responding to feedback you submit — legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Who Else Sees Your Data

We do not sell or rent personal data. Data is shared only with the following, strictly to run the service:

• Telegram (Telegram FZ-LLC / Telegram Messenger Inc.) — delivers messages the Bot sends you; Telegram processes data under its own privacy policy and may be located outside the EEA.
• FACEIT — the source of the public player statistics the Bot looks up on your behalf.
• Our hosting providers — Netlify (this Site) and our server host (the Bot), storing data on our behalf, under our instructions.

7. How Long We Keep It

• Bot account/tracking data is kept while you remain a Bot user; use /untrack to stop tracking a player, or contact us to delete your account data entirely.
• Feedback messages are kept up to a rolling cap of 500 entries; oldest entries are removed first.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request rectification of inaccurate data;
• Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”);
• Request restriction of, or object to, processing;
• Request data portability;
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. The simplest way to stop and erase notification data is the Bot's own /untrack command or by blocking/stopping the Bot in Telegram.

We apply reasonable technical measures (access restrictions, rate limiting, standard security headers) to protect the data we hold. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

The Site and Bot are not directed at children and are not knowingly used to collect data from children under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
